The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan – review

It was simply a fantastic book. It’s a look into how raelm people go through the same things, how we hesitate over the same dilemmas and share the same sorrows and joys as people we may not have thought twice about. And everyone in between. He knows his voice: I love teen fiction. I am excited to read Levithan’s Boy Meets Boy in the near future.

This is a book that should be in the library of every high school and middle school. If you like to change things up a bit, to try something new then pick up this book. Want to tell the world about a book you’ve read? Read it and smile and remember yourself at that age. And to voice out these feelings, the author speaks to us through twenty voices.

Share The Realm of Possibility via: I really loved that, because it kept me intrigued the whole way llevithan with fresh ways of presenting the free verse. The main issue I had with The Realm of Possibility is that I couldn’t keep track of the characters throughout the book.

There are 20 different voices, one for each ‘chapter’. They do not acknowledge the fact that what they had in the beginning wasn’t love at all.

In fact, I’d say it was one of my favourites of this collection. Being a teenager is such a time of possibility. While I was reading, each voice was distinctive and I grew to associate them with different things, but I had issues distinguishing them from one another outside of their individual chapters.
